Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Kuzan (the “Service”), operated by Kuzan (“Kuzan,” “we,” “us”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. What Kuzan is

Kuzan is a readiness and roster-management tool for combat-sports coaches. It helps you track fighters' weight cuts, injuries, check-ins, and fight schedules. Kuzan is not a medical device and does not provide medical, nutritional, or professional advice. See the disclaimer below.

2. Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for maintaining the security of your login credentials, and for all activity under your account. Notify us promptly of any unauthorized use.

3. Data about the fighters you track

The Service lets you record information about athletes you coach, which may include body-weight logs, injury details, and contact details used for operational check-in reminders. You represent and warrant that you have the necessary authority and permission to enter and process this information about each athlete, and that you will handle it responsibly. You are responsible for the accuracy of the data you enter and for how you act on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to misuse the Service: no unlawful use, no attempts to breach security or access data that is not yours, no reverse engineering, no reselling the Service, and no uploading of malicious code or unlawful content.

5. Plans, billing, and auto-renewal

Kuzan offers a free tier and paid subscription plans billed monthly or yearly in U.S. dollars through our payment processor, Stripe. Paid plans automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from the billing portal in your account settings; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you retain access until then.

6. Refunds

Except where required by applicable law, payments are non-refundable and we do not provide refunds or credits for partial billing periods. We may, at our sole discretion, offer a refund in individual cases. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us and we will review it.

7. Intellectual property

Kuzan and its software, design, and content are owned by us and protected by law. You retain ownership of the data and content you enter (“Your Content”), and you grant us a limited license to host and process it solely to provide the Service. Any outputs the Service generates for you from Your Content (for example, computed readiness or risk indicators) are provided for your use as part of the Service and are furnished “as is.”

8. Disclaimer — not medical advice

The Service is provided for informational and organizational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical, nutritional, or athletic judgment.Weight cutting and injury management carry real health risks. Do not rely on Kuzan to make health, safety, weight-cut, or return-to-competition decisions. Always consult a qualified professional. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kuzan and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, or for any personal injury or health outcome, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time from your settings. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these Terms.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above and, where appropriate, by notice in the app. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

12. Governing law
